Watercolors By Pamela: Juried Award Winning Watercolor Artist. A self-taught watercolor artist, Pamela creatively displays life as it once was. Her artwork reflects her love for traditional settings. The beauty of Pamela’s work is reflected in her innate ability to portray historical structures with a nature-enhanced setting. Living in the country in a historical brick home overlooking a nature preserve, has inspired her work. She is taken by the memories and stories shared of the “old days” – a more peaceful, quite time when people worked together and spent time sharing life. Many hours of concentrated painting capture the exquisite detail of chosen subjects. Her primary subject matter depicts historical structures, rural settings, and old-fashioned barns. Pamela’s work has been exhibited in numerous juried, group, and solo shows throughout Central Ohio. She has sold many of her paintings and commission pieces to private and corporate collections, locally and throughout the United States. A reviewer for The Columbus Dispatch described her work as “…delightfully refreshing, especially since the work is so well conceived and executed”.
